Lore[edit | edit source]
This section uses content from the Warcraft Wiki.
- Acherus: The Ebon Hold (pronounced ACK-er-us) is a former Scourge necropolis floating above Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands. It is the headquarters of the Knights of the Ebon Blade and is the starting area for all death knights of the Alliance and the Horde.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Acherus Veteran's flavor text is a reference to the Rifleman's Creed, which is learned by all Marines of the United States Marine Corps and whose very first line reads: This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
